Dr Brankica is a Consultant Neonatologist with a PhD and 30 years of clinical and research experience. She is a certified Neonatologist by the Serbian Medical Chamber, the American Academy of Paediatrics and the European Board of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care

  • Antenatal Counseling
  • Neonatal Resuscitation and Neuroprotection
  • Neonatal invasive (AC, PSV, VG, SIMV, HFOV, iNO) and non-invasive ventilation (NCPAP, NIPPV, BiPAP, HFNC) with lung protection and lung ultrasound
  • Haemodynamic assessment and support for critically ill newborns (integrated multimodal monitoring including continuous vital signs monitoring, perfusion index monitoring, echocardiography and NIRS)
  • Early diagnosis of congenital anomalies utilising advanced ultrasound techniques  (ECHO, cranial ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound and chest ultrasound)
  • Management of extremely immature newborns and newborns with high-risk and complex health conditions
  • Therapeutic Hypothermia, seizure therapy, brain activity monitoring (aEEG) and neuroimaging (cranial ultrasound, MRI and MRS)
  • Optimal parenteral and enteral nutrition and growth evaluation
  • Treatment of neonatal jaundice, including exchange transfusion
  • Follow up on NICU patients and developmental challenges
  • Patient Safety and Quality Improvement in NICU
  • Neonatal research and Reports in International conferences
